Amphenol PCD's Manufacturing Operations team is growing. We're excited to welcome a Buyer II to our team in Beverly, MA. Job Summary: As a Buyer II, you will manage the purchasing process from initial quote to final order receipt, ensuring the timely delivery of materials to support production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address vendor quality and invoice issues, helping to maintain smooth operations. Essential Functions: Review and manage open purchase orders, track vendor performance, and expedite orders as needed to ensure on-time delivery Generate shop orders for outside processing needs Work with teams from Quality, Engineering, and Finance to resolve vendor-related quality and invoice concerns Escalate vendor delivery delays to ensure production schedules and customer orders are met Analyze MRP reports and place orders to support both manufacturing and customer demands Required Skills/Qualifications: Experience working in a manufacturing environment Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Strong attention to detail Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Macola experience is a plus) Advanced Excel skills Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience Education: Associate degree or equivalent work experience A Little Bit About Us: Precision Connector Design (PCD) was founded in 1977.
