SUMMARY Responsible for the duties associated with developing, managing, and supporting the online banking system, wire system, and the various other systems utilized in the Operations department. Provide a full range of professional, technical, and general support to bank personnel by investigating and reconciling escalated questions/concerns with regard to accounts and services. Participate with project teams for testing upgrades to all the systems and direct interface software, ensure projects are completed on time and follow up as necessary. Maintain working knowledge of bank policies and procedures. Understands and communicates all bank products and services.
The salary for this role will be between $68,781 and $100,420. The specific salary offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to applicant's skills and prior relevant experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Recommend and assist in the development and implementation of process and procedure improvements to enhance the department's service capabilities and operational efficiencies. Partner with leadership to ensure effective implementation of enhancements and new digital services. Develop templates and tools to aid in testing, configuration, documentation, and implementation management.
Research and document end-user needs and Riverview's business requirements. Write user stories, enhancement requests, and specification documents for internal teams or external vendors. Design workflow charts and diagrams for process improvements.
Design Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans for system upgrades and new product implementations. Author test cases. Ensure new services, enhancements, and system upgrades are tested thoroughly, results are logged, and issues reported with appropriate levels of detail. Work with internal team members and external vendors for issue resolution. Escalate tickets as needed until an acceptable resolution is reached.
Recommend, test, and implement system configurations and operational processes. Recommend, create, and maintain department and product documentation, including resource guide materials, procedures, training tools, and FAQs. Act as a subject matter expert for digital service solutions and maintain a strong understanding of current system requirements, and configurations. Maintain professional and technical knowledge through a variety of means (e.g., attend workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.)
Daily administration of the systems in the Operations department. Responsible for testing and maintaining documentation for system updates. Maintaining records of systems maintenance completed and obtaining appropriate authorizations.
Responsible for the development, management and support of digital banking. Function as lead liaison between Riverview Bank and designated vendors. Assist general operations through contact with branches / departments to identify and resolve problem areas, making recommendations that increase efficiency within the organization. Maintain and provide up to date knowledge and development of standard policies and procedures. Participate and ensure that technical and operational functions for branches and departments are applied, reviewed and maintained through the coordination of staff training. Prepare and/or complete various reports and forms accurately to be in compliance with established policies and procedures. Provide customer service and use problem-solving skills to satisfy clients. Participate as assigned in special task force groups to assist in developing and bringing new products and technology to the branches/departments. Additional duties and responsibilities Participates in and completes training objectives with passing scores. Work independently and efficiently on duties assigned. Follow all Riverview policies and procedures. Lead or participate in project teams - including bank employees and outside vendors. Complete projects as assigned by Supervisor Other duties as assigned RELATIONSHIPS Weekly contact with Manager for consultation and direction regarding operational activities. Contact clients and prospective clients in providing assistance to fulfill their banking needs. Frequent contact with business representatives providing sales, service products and equipment. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree and three years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of related education and experience. Previous experience in an Operations environment. SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, clients, and the general public. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel. Ability to understand components of Operational software programs Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to effectively communicate via phone/video, messaging, and email. The employee is required to use computer and office equipment such as a computer, printer, copier, as well as computer software such as Microsoft Office. You may also frequently be required to occupy a workstation for long periods of time.
