Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to help support our FEAMS MCRW contract in Philadelphia, PA. This is a hybrid role working 4 days remote and 1 day onsite.

HOW A BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and fit with company/customer system architecture standards

Provides systems analysis support to project team(s) building custom web-based business applications to support the Medical Military Supply Chain.

Provides detailed functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation support to the Project Team

Participates as needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, requirements elicitation, testing, integration, documentation, and implementation phases

Must be capable of providing configuration management support to the Project lead in all areas of the software development lifecycle

Supports Project Lead when needed in customer facing role soliciting and documenting functional requirements and level of effort estimates based on feedback from technical developers. Independently leads and facilitates small Joint Application Development requirements sessions when needed

Develops a strong understanding of the underlying business processes and data aligned to a systems capability, ultimately becoming an SME in the application and supported business capability

Performs complex data analysis using SQL. Must be knowledgeable in database design and comfortable reviewing and analyzing data involved in the execution of the business capability. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system problems.

Creates Software Lifecycle Documentation (user guides, ICDs, etc) as required for all stages of the application development process

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED REQUIRED:

Citizenship : US Citizen

Security Clearance : NACLC

Education : Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred but not required

Year's Experience: 8+ years of related experience

Technical Skills: Microsoft Office applications, SQL, experience in an enterprise Configuration Management Tool like Azure DevOps

Skills and Abilities: Proven client facing ability.

Location : 4 days remote, one day onsite Philadelphia, PA

The likely salary range for this position is $121,125 - $163,875. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
