Contract consulting opportunity for an experience Business Systems Analyst with previous DTCC experience.
Client requirements: - Must be local to Minneapolis area: hybrid onsite 3 days/week

What you'll do: - Perform analysis and develops requirements (user stories) for enhancements and new products implemented on complex Annuity and Life insurance systems
- Act as a subject matter expert integrating complex product design and business rules into solutions.
- Have strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working cross-functionally. Is able to discuss technical topics with non-technical audiences.
- In response to regulation and in collaboration with other areas, determines business systems approach and requirements needed to maintain compliance within impacted applications and processes.
- Work alongside Product Owners to ensure developers can build enhancements and new products as intended.
- Generate recommendations to resolve known areas for improvement or to take advantage of emerging opportunities.
- Actively participate in the Agile process, including advancing the efficiency and agility of the teams with which they work.
- Is an advocate for positive change in their teams, able to motivate people to overcome barriers and generate creative and elegant solutions to difficult problems
Experience - 4+ years of experience required, relevant technical and business experience, preferably in the Annuity and Life Insurance industry.
- Four-year degree required, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field; or specialized training or equivalent extensive work experience
- Experience working in an Agile environment, but able to work with elements of waterfall projects
- Experience with DTCC, ACCORD standards, Firelight, AN4, Affirm or other insurance application order entry systems
