Responsibilities
Peraton is looking for a Business Analyst, who will be the vital link between our government client, internal and external information technology (IT) assets, and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of software requirements capture, analytical, and testing tasks of our software product's features.
Must be US Citizen and able to hold position of Trust (Public Trust) - Provide expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives relative to the business plan and industry requirements.
- Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Experience with testing and automated testing a plus.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with data reporting and analytics, with experience in tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau being a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creates detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Experience with mobile apps and web apps a definite plus.
- Experience with Scaled Agile environment with certifications a plus
- Guide product owners in documenting requirements, developing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Manage product and sprint backlogs, Lead scrum ceremonies such as PI planning, sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, and retrospective
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to validate requirements, and support UAT efforts
Qualifications
Must Have Qualifications:
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
- Must be able to obtain a position of Public Trust;
- Experience in Business/ Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
- Working in a Scaled Agile environment
- Knowledge in generating process documentation, such as in Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, Requirement Traceability Matrices, and Interface Control Documents
- Strong problem solving, written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skillset
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in Federal government space developing clear, concise key deliverables
- Mobile application and web development scaled agile team experience

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
