The Vacancy
Scot JCB Group have an opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to support the ongoing development of our IFS ERP system. The successful candidate will work with subject matter experts within the business to establish system requirements and develop the required solution. The is also an opportunity to play a significant role in the upgrade to IFS Cloud.
The role requires the candidate to be able to create adequate user guidance notes and deliver training to the relevant departments. IFS is the core business system used at Scot JCB and this role will play a key part in ensuring the business utilises the most effective systems and processes.
There may be an opportunity to become involved in non-IFS developments such as the use of Power BI and Power Apps within the business.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm. We are open to discussing hybrid working patterns.
Key Duties
- 1st line support for IFS functional issues.
- IFS User Training.
- Maintain all IFS user guides and process flow charts.
- Lead IFS functionality enhancements

- Maintain clear and standard IFS user guides/process flow charts.

- Regularly review and remediate IFS failed background jobs, application messages and print errors.
- Carry out functionality testing and data validation

- Ensure user IFS permissions are assigned appropriately.

- Lead IFS functionality change requests and projects.
- Ensure good quality Business Requirements Documents are produced for all IT system projects.
- Promote the use of SMART business systems and automation.
- Conduct process reviews with key stakeholders and identify improvement opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-3 years of experience with ERP systems (IFS experience advantageous)
- 0365 applications - Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint
- Experience of delivering training and producing training documentation
- Experience of overseeing ERP functionality enhancements
- Ability to relate to non-IT employees in a productive way
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work from our Denniston office at least 2 days per week
