Our challenge
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business System Analyst, experience in analyzing business needs and translating them into actionable system requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Agile Scrum methodologies and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburg, PA is $90k - $95k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives.
- Analyze and prioritize requirements and transform them into detailed functional specifications.
- Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work with product owners and development teams to clarify requirements and ensure successful implementation.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.
- Develop and execute test plans and strategies to ensure quality deliverables.
- Create and maintain documentation, including user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to business analysis and Agile methodologies.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst, with a strong emphasis on Agile and Scrum.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
- Agile certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP) is a plus.
