seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Specialist II to provide critical administrative, support. This position plays an essential role in supporting the Chief Housing Officer directly and providing general administrative support to the team for department operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills and communication abilities, able to maintain confidentiality, and has a commitment to ensuring effective operations across a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Chief Housing Officer with scheduling, correspondence, and compiling information for reports and meetings
• Provide administrative support to the Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC) meetings including support with scheduling, distribution of materials, preparing meeting agendas and minutes.
• Submit public notices for meetings and manage Granicus/Legistar submissions for City Council agenda items.
• Assist in managing the Housing Department's public-facing email inbox and respond to external voicemails and inquiries or route for response
• Support compliance reporting for grantfunded contracts (CDBG, HOME, ESG.) to include support for annual asset property compliance reviews and inspections and annual occupancy reporting for asset properties.
• Support updates in the Neighborly grants management platform, and update grant training materials.
• Use accessibility software to remediate public-facing documents in accordance with ADA digital accessibility policies.
• Other administrative support duties as assigned.
