Position Summary:

The Business Relationship Analyst will serve as a liaison between the New Business department, Sales & Marketing and the back offices of key independent marketing organizations to strengthen existing business relationships. This position will collaborate with management to devise customer engagement strategies to accomplish daily tasks and duties with the goal of providing excellent customer service and business solutions. The Business Relationship Analyst involves systematic identification, analysis, monitoring, and improvement of stakeholder relationships to target and improve mutually beneficial outcomes. The analyst will identify priorities for services, in alignment with desired business outcomes. The Business Relationship Analyst is expected to communicate effectively, handle and resolve complaints and escalations as they arise, and prioritize tasks to meet established deadlines and help grow the customer service experience.

How You'll Contribute:

As a Business Relationship Analyst, you will act as a key liaison between our New Business department, Sales & Marketing, and independent marketing organizations. You'll play a pivotal role in strengthening partnerships, identifying service priorities, and contributing to operational improvements. This position collaborates across teams to deliver excellent customer service and sustainable business solutions. We are seeking individuals passionate about building meaningful business relationships and who bring strong communication, analytical, and relationship management skills to the team.

What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the primary contact for operational escalations and issues.
  • Analyze new applications and resolve not-in-good-order (NIGO) issues per policy guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and Contact Center teams to clarify outstanding requirements.
  • Manage internal and external relationships, identifying client needs and service enhancements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve customer service experience.
  • Identify and resolve procedural gaps to improve departmental efficiency.
  • Lead by example and provide coaching/training opportunities.
  • Prepare business requirement documentation for improved stakeholder engagement.
  • Support cross-departmental collaboration and technology integration.
  • Proactively solve conflicts and foster a collaborative team environment.
What You'll Bring:

Education:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Experience:
  • 3 years of external customer relationship experience required.
  • Minimum 4 years of life and annuity experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong verbal and written communication across all organizational levels.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical problem-solving.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong customer service orientation and collaborative mindset.
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
  • Proficient in navigating multiple computer systems and software tools.
