Business/Real Estate Litigation Attorney Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled attorney with 3 years of litigation experience to join our thriving Business and Real Estate Litigation practice. This role provides the opportunity to handle a broad spectrum of complex disputes, including high-stakes real estate and business matters. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented litigator with strong advocacy and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in real estate litigation involving purchase/sale agreements, easement and boundary disputes, construction claims, unlawful detainers, broker liability, and secured lender issues.


  • Handle business litigation matters such as breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, breach of contract, partnership and shareholder disputes, trade secrets misappropriation, and employment conflicts.


  • Manage cases independently from pre-litigation through resolution, including strategy development, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial prep.


  • Advise clients on risk mitigation and legal strategy related to ongoing disputes.


  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement agreements.


  • Participate in negotiations, mediations, and court appearances in both state and federal venues.


  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of California business and real estate law developments.



Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar


  • 3 years of experience in business and/or real estate litigation


  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills


  • Strong understanding of real estate contracts, fiduciary law, and business torts


  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently


  • Trial or arbitration experience is a plus


  • Experience with construction, landlord/tenant, or secured lender disputes is highly desirable
