Business Process Analyst with Security Clearance

Position Description Serco has a great opportunity for an experienced MS Applications Developer who has experience in building custom applications using Power Apps and Share Point support services to the U.S. Navy in Washington DC. This position requires to work in the office at the Washington Navy YArd. Therefore, flexibility to a hybrid work schedule is allowed. A Power BI developer who specializes in creating and administering Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards. Work within the customer's analytics team, often focusing on data preprocessing, analysis, and designing visualizations to provide actionable insights for navy stakeholders. Someone that has experience transforming raw data into meaningful and interactive presentations. This position works directly with Senior Level Civil Service leadership as part of the Readiness and Sustainment team supporting PMS 443 HM&E portfolio programs to include: development of program status briefs, action tracking lists, coordination and setup of meetings, preparation of meeting minutes, and assist PM with collaboration of cross functional team objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building custom applications using Power Apps, including familiarity with creating interactive Power BI dashboards, workflows and SharePoint sites. In addition, experience creating impactful, visually engaging PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate complex ideas and data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential. This role requires someone who can design and implement end-to-end solutions, integrating various Microsoft technologies to enhance business processes. In this role you will: Develop and maintain custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps including Power BI. Create automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes. Manage and configure SharePoint sites, including document libraries and lists. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint. Ensure seamless integration between applications. Create visually engaging PowerPoint presentations that clearly communicate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders. Lead team meetings and manage minutes and action items to ensure progress. Report and Dashboard Development: Building visually appealing and interactive reports using Power BI Desktop and other tools. Data Visualization: Designing and creating interactive dashboards and reports with a focus on clarity and user experience. Data Analysis: Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions. Proficiency in Power BI: Understanding the Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and other Power BI components. Data Visualization Expertise: Skill in designing effective and user-friendly dashboards and reports. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: An active DoD Govt issued Secret clearance A Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years directly relevant work experience In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 10 years applicable work experience. Strong experience in Microsoft Power Apps development and customization. Proficient in Power BI dashboard creation and reporting. Hands-on experience with Power Automate to create workflows. Familiarity with managing SharePoint sites, libraries, and permissions. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with other BI tools (Tableau, QlikView): Can broaden skillset and understanding of the BI landscape. Flexibility with up to 10% travel. Navy Modernization experience preferred.
