Business Operations Assistant Objective: The Business Operations Assistant will support the daily operations of Sit n Stay Dog Training, ensuring efficient management of office tasks, client communication, and marketing initiatives. The Part Time Business Operations Assistant at Sit n' Stay Pet Services, Inc. will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our company in Orchard Park, New York. This individual will work closely with the owner to ensure smooth and efficient business processes. The ideal candidate is a reliable and detail-oriented individual with previous administrative experience and a passion for the pet industry.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a part-time hourly position with a competitive hourly rate of $18 to $20 per hour, paid on a weekly basis. As an employee of Sit n' Stay Pet Services, Inc., you will also have access to our employee discount program for pet services. Key Responsibilities: - Administrative Support: Handle incoming calls and manage email correspondence to ensure prompt and professional communication. Assist in scheduling, document preparation, and maintaining organized files. - Client Interaction: Manage client bookings, follow-ups, and re-booking processes. Ensure a smooth and attentive customer journey from initial contact to post-service follow-up. - Social Media and Marketing: Assist in creating and posting social media content. Engage with followers and respond to queries. Reach out to potential business partners and manage relationships with brand ambassadors. - Operational Efficiency: Track marketing and sales metrics, compile spreadsheets, and maintain records of business performance. Proactively identify and implement process improvements. - Project Management: Follow up on tasks delegated to others within the team, ensuring timely completion and adherence to standards. Help define and document standard operating procedures. - Research and Reporting: Conduct research as needed and prepare reports that support business decisions and strategy development. - Meeting and Event Coordination: Attend and contribute to Zoom meetings and in-person classes, ensuring all necessary materials and information are prepared and presented. Skills and Qualifications: - Strong computer and technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized. - Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks or challenges. - Experience in customer service and handling confidential information. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Experience with project management and delegation. Education and Experience: - A degree in business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred. - Prior experience in an administrative, marketing, or customer service role is highly desirable.
