About the Role

The Business Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the company's timeshare sales business. This position focuses on sales compensation management, performance forecasting, data-driven insights and reporting, ensuring that our teams operate efficiently and effectively in a dynamic sales environment. In addition, this role will utilize forecasting and analytical tools to create the annual budget for the vacation ownership business as well as ad hoc financial modeling of new ownership products and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Compensation & Incentives:
  • Design, implement, and manage commission and incentive structures to drive timeshare sales performance.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Sales leadership to develop competitive compensation plans that align with business objectives.
  • Monitor and assess incentive program effectiveness, recommending improvements to boost productivity.
Forecasting & Sales Performance Analytics:
  • Develop and maintain sales & marketing forecasts using tour flow, package pricing, historical data, and market trends.
  • Track and analyze KPIs such as tour conversion rates, VPG (Volume Per Guest), and marketing efficiency.
  • Provide actionable insights to enhance closing rates, marketing lead performance, and revenue growth.
  • Conduct proforma business analysis to evaluate, optimize, and support current and new marketing programs.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure data-driven strategies align with operational goals.
Business Insights & Corporate Accounting:
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track sales and marketing performance across properties and sales centers.
  • Automate reporting processes for timely and accurate insights for executive leadership.
  • Partner with IT and BI teams to improve data integrity, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
  • Perform ad hoc financial modeling and business analysis of potential new products and programs.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, or financial analysis and/or direct accounting experience within the vacation ownership industry.
  • Strong understanding of the vacation ownership industry, including tour flow management, lead generation, and commission structures.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HR teams.
