Business Office Manager to join our team in Fort Worth. This pivotal role ensures the smooth financial operation of our agency, with a focus on billing, payroll, insurance, and contract management.
What You'll Do:Financial Operations & Reporting - Oversee billing, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and resolution of discrepancies
- Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and more
- Ensure compliance with labor and payroll laws
Contract & Insurance Oversight - Manage long-term care and VA contracts, ensuring billing and compliance
- Oversee business and employee health insurance coverage, renewals, and claims
- Work closely with brokers, providers, and internal teams
Compliance & Audits - Stay on top of federal, state, and local regulations
- Lead audit preparation and ensure accurate documentation
Office Management - Lead our business office team and maintain efficient daily operations
- Support the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator and ensure payroll is ran in a timely manner
- Support budgeting and cost-efficiency initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial/office management, preferably in healthcare
- Knowledge of VA and long-term care contracts (a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and accounting platforms like QuickBooks or Paylocity
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and clients
Salary Description
$70,000 - $80,000 / Year
