Village at Belmar, Lakewood's premiere senior living community, is seeking an organized Business Office Manager to join our team. The Business Office Manager helps with the financial management of the community including assisting with resident billing, accounts payable, payroll and ordering supplies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensures monthly resident billing is mailed out in a timely manner.
  • Reviews and submits invoices to accounts payable software for administration.
  • Ensures community's billing checks and balances are followed by all team members as required by community policy including but not limited to the balancing of the daily occupancy.
  • Works closely with marketing to ensure all move in paperwork is received and filed according to company policy
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with residents, associates, and family members.
  • Promotes and encourages an environment of trust within the Business Office as well as with department heads and all community employees.
  • Processes bi-weekly payroll for the community
  • Contacts suppliers and/or vendors concerning errors or questions on invoices, as directed by the Business Office Area Manager.
  • Monitors and collects accounts receivables, including resident rent checks. Reports delinquent accounts to management.
  • Performs payroll data entry, including maintenance of employee records, timecards, miscellaneous deductions, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Previous experience in bookkeeping or entry level accounting required
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed
Pay:

$60,000-$65,000 a year, based on experience
