Nealy Pierce has been engaged by a growing, non-profit, independently owned community hospital in Kentucky to recruit a dynamic and collaborative Business Office Assistant Director (Hospital) to join its leadership team.

Role Overview:

As the Business Office Assistant Director (Hospital),you will:
  • Manage the daily operations of the Business Office, ensuring alignment with the hospital's strategic goals
  • Lead a team of 15 FTEs, providing training and mentorship to enhance performance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital departments, clinical leadership, and providers to foster effective communication and collaboration
  • Drive improvements in billing, accounts receivable management, claims processing, cash postings and vendor management to enhance financial performance
  • Report directly to a supportive and dynamic Executive Director, Revenue Cycle
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of hospital-based business office leadership experience
  • Minimum five (5) years hospital business office / billing experience
  • Proven expertise in revenue cycle management, billing, AR, and denial resolution.
  • Passion for mentoring, training, and building high-performing teams
