Job Summary: The Business Manager at Dixie Buick GMC is responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of vehicle sales and customer transactions. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the dealership's profitability and compliance with relevant regulations. The Business Manager works closely with the sales team and customers to facilitate the sale of vehicles, financing, and aftermarket products and services.
Key Responsibilities: - Finance and Insurance (F&I) Sales:
- Present and explain financing and insurance options to customers.
- Offer and sell financing, extended warranties, vehicle protection plans, and other aftermarket products.
- Ensure all financing paperwork is accurately completed and submitted to financial institutions.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding financing, paperwork, and contracts.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to enhance their overall dealership experience.
- Compliance and Legal Requirements:
- Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations related to vehicle financing and insurance.
- Ensure all documentation and transactions comply with legal requirements and dealership policies.
- Financial Management:
- Manage financial aspects of vehicle sales, including pricing, incentives, and promotions.
- Work with the finance team to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs and expectations.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Accurately complete and maintain all sales and financing paperwork, contracts, and records.
- Organize and manage customer files and documentation in compliance with dealership and legal requirements.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify financing and insurance opportunities.
- Provide training and guidance to sales staff on financing and F&I processes.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Perform administrative duties related to financing and insurance, such as data entry, reporting, and reconciliations.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in automotive dealership F&I or a related financial role is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financing and insurance products, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in using finance and dealership management software.
