Primary Responsibilities

Leading the Team

Provide mentorship, coaching, and leadership to a group of BI Developers.
Allocate and prioritize work, managing incoming requests, system enhancements, and bug resolutions.

Maintaining Infrastructure Health

Manage ongoing maintenance of SQL Server systems, including backups, indexing strategies, query optimization, and software updates.
Continuously monitor system performance and quickly address any issues to minimize disruptions.

Building and Supporting BI Solutions

Oversee the creation, implementation, and support of BI reports, dashboards, and analytical tools
Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data visualizations and analytics that meet business needs.
Lead database development and optimization efforts to ensure speed, reliability, and accuracy.

Shaping BI Strategy and Governance

Establish and promote data governance practices to ensure consistent, secure, and high-quality information across the organization.
Develop a roadmap for BI initiatives that aligns with business goals and emerging technologies.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field-or equivalent professional experience.
8+ years of hands-on experience delivering BI solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, Power BI, and related technologies.
Minimum of 2+ years leading or managing technical teams.
Experience designing ETL processes with SSIS; knowledge of Microsoft Fabric is an advantage.
Expertise in Power BI development, including complex data modeling and interactive dashboard creation.
Deep technical knowledge of SQL Server, including database design, tuning, and maintenance.
