ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Business Integration Lead to join our team in Herndon, VA. The Business Integration Lead will be the local point of contact (POC) responsible for overseeing and coordinating global commercial logistics and sustainment efforts to support military operations. This role requires a deep understanding of commercial logistics and sustainment best practices and future capabilities, as well as strong leadership and coordination skills to integrate these solutions effectively with military plans and operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist the DPM with commercial logistics and sustainment forecasting, including the integration of service components and lead the transformation and modernization efforts for the TO, onboarding new capabilities, processes and technology to enhance task area efficacy and operational relevance.
Serve as the chief expert in all aspects of commercial logistics and sustainment and serve as primary liaison with organizations requiring Commercial Logistics and Sustainment to support planning and scheduling for both forecasted and emergent requests.
Confer with TO leads to maintain an overall understanding of the operational environment and serve as a commercial logistics and sustainment resource to the DPM and TO leadership team, providing expert opinion and support to the Mission Operations Lead and respective functional staff.
Establish and leverage our commercial logistics and sustainment Knowledge Base (KB) to prepare for and execute assigned missions, leveraging the latest commercial best practices and experiences to improve our team and quality of support.
When directed, serves as acting DPM in the absence of the PM including program management activities, TO tasks as part of the PMO leadership. Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and 20+ years of progressive experience in logistics and sustainment planning, operations and innovation, with significant focus on international operations in military, government and commercial contracting including experience in strategic, operational and tactical planning for support in CL environments
Proven experience working with defense agencies, designing, developing and delivering logistics and sustainment services using solutions for commercial logistics and sustainment systems or programs
Proven knowledge and successful application and advisement of delivering international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, multi-modal transportation modes (air, sea, land), and supply chain optimization including military supply chains, deployment procedures, and transporting sensitive, hazardous, or classified materials
Proficiency in government and commercial logistics and sustainment management system integration to optimize operations and track shipments; led high-performing planning and operations teams and effectively collaborated with diverse stakeholders, including special operating forces. Strong knowledge of DoD policies, authorities, and practices.
Proven experience working with defense agencies, understanding military logistics and sustainment processes, and in-depth knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., ITAR, FAR, DFARS). Preferred Qualifications: Experience as military logistics and sustainment leader (J-4/G-4, Service HQs experience) or General Operations Manager in a manufacturing, defense production, or logistics and sustainment company
Certified in project or program management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, or DAWIA Level III).
Experience in a billet with the Joint United States Military Advisory Group (JUSMAAG) and Defense Attaché. Clearance Requirements: Must have a current/active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI. Physical Requirements: Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
