AppleOne Wall Street is seeking a Business Development Specialist with staffing industry experience. The position will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing client relationships to drive revenue growth. This role involves sourcing new business opportunities, understanding client hiring needs, and providing strategic workforce solutions through temporary, contract, and permanent staffing services.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by networking, cold calling, lead generation, and market research.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, HR professionals, and decision-makers in target industries.
  • Present and sell staffing solutions, including temporary, contract, direct hire, and managed services.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Understand client hiring needs, workforce challenges, and business objectives to provide tailored staffing solutions.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal recruiting teams to ensure successful placement of candidates.
  • Provide ongoing account management and conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess service effectiveness.

Market Research & Strategy:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market demands in the staffing and recruitment sector.
  • Identify potential industries and regions for business expansion.
  • Develop strategic partnerships to enhance business growth and service offerings.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with recruitment teams to align candidate sourcing strategies with client needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop outreach campaigns, promotional materials, and brand awareness initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions in CRM software.
  • Prepare and present reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, HR, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the staffing/recruitment industry.
  • Strong understanding of staffing models, workforce trends, and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business development tools.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
