Job Description
Summary:
Total Security Solutions is seeking a qualified individual to join our Sales Team as a Business Development Specialist. As a member of our Sales Team, you will be responsible for driving intelligence for the sales organization through data analysis within our systems. This role will also drive lead generation, make outbound sales calls, present capabilities to prospective customers, set meetings for all Sales Account Managers to close business, and provide additional support as needed to Account Managers.
Primary Responsibilities:

Primarily responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on sales data in systems such as BidPrime, ConstructConnect, Hubspot, and other lead-generating systems.

Provide insight into key target accounts that lead to relationship building and revenue generation.

Responsible for outbound calls to customers to build relationships and foster the TSS brand ahead of the Account Manager's engagement with the client.

Creates and presents presentations on emerging markets, heat maps of opportunities, bid history, pricing analysis etc.

Maps geographic and industry markets according to competition, channel partners, key accounts, and other data points.

Ensure data integrity and field matching across all sales platforms.

Research areas and markets with growth opportunities by staying up to date on relevant industry trends and news.

Works closely with the IT team on data connectivity driving accurate and timely deal flow into our CRM.

Create and present case studies and capabilities to the customer base.

Input accurate daily/weekly/monthly management of CRM data and individual forecast/pipeline.

Effectively and professionally communicate with customers in written or verbal form to promote our capabilities.

Identify and solve issues relating to the revenue performance of assigned projects.

Maintain accurate customer information in CRM.

Scheduling meetings with appropriate Account Managers within the market segments for all sales.

Collaborate with other departments and team members to arrive at solutions that achieve the customer's goals.

Effectively manage challenges /conflicts with external and internal customers to facilitate an overall positive customer experience & successful outcome.

Conduct market research.

Perform other various duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Associate's Degree with 3+ years of experience in business, sales, marketing or a related field

Excellent interpersonal, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

Excellent verbal communication and phone skills

Detail-oriented and able to focus on multiple tasks at one time

Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems

Proficient with Google Apps and Salesforce CRM preferred

Work Environment:

This job takes place in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. Office employees are required to wear safety glasses, safety shoes, and a highly visible vest at all times in production areas and labs.
