What you'll be doing:
  • Drive sales results for your assigned accounts with significant sales potential ( $8-10M+). Actively seek new business opportunities while managing your existing customer base.
  • Map accounts to pinpoint core and specialty category opportunities.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of your accounts, create strategic growth plans, and identify new avenues for business development.
  • Prioritize your portfolio to enhance customer understanding and deploy resources effectively.
  • Regularly update customer data and manage a healthy sales pipeline utilizing enabling tools.
  • Gain thorough knowledge of products, customers, and their respective vertical markets.
  • Utilize Salesforce consistently to manage your sales process.
  • Engage in various sales strategies through phone calls, social media, emails, and in-person visits.
  • Implement effective sales methodologies to retain and expand your customer base.
What you bring to the table:
  • Ability to connect and interface with senior-level decision-makers.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Expertise in consultative selling, solutions-based selling, insight selling, and negotiation.
  • Strong acumen in business, finance, operations, and technology.
  • Ability to analyze customer data and industry trends to provide tailored solutions based on Quill's value proposition.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Creative and analytical thinking skills.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
What's needed- Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, particularly in Account Management and/or Business Development.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 4x per year).
What's needed- Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced computer skills.
  • Experience managing large, complex accounts.
  • History of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience in managing complex deals from inception to conclusion.
  • Familiarity with the business-to-business sales process.
  • Responsibility for both retaining and growing existing accounts.
