Description
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Business Development Representative to drive growth for our non-medical home care agency. This is a field-based outside sales position focused on building strong relationships within the community, developing referral networks, and expanding our client base. The ideal candidate is a natural relationship builder who is passionate about connecting seniors and their families with essential care services that allow them to remain safe and independent at home.
Responsibilities: - Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by cultivating relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehab centers, physician offices, senior living communities, case managers, social workers, attorneys, financial planners, long-term care insurance brokers, and community organizations.
- Conduct regular in-person visits, drop-ins, and presentations to establish and maintain visibility in the community.
- Develop and execute sales strategies and outreach plans to meet monthly and quarterly growth targets.
- Represent the agency at community events, health fairs, networking groups, and industry conferences to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Qualify potential clients and caregivers through initial conversations, assessing needs and aligning with the agency's services.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking outreach efforts, lead activity, referrals, and conversions using CRM tools.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to align sales strategies with business objectives and service capacity.
- Provide consistent follow-up with prospects, referral sources, and existing partners to strengthen relationships and identify additional opportunities for service.
- Distribute branded marketing materials, develop referral packets, and ensure timely communication of any updates to referral sources and clients.
- Deliver weekly progress reports and participate in sales meetings to share insights and identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven success in outside sales, preferably in home care, healthcare, senior services, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Highly organized and self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Comfortable working independently in the field and managing a flexible schedule
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
