Job Description Forefront Culinary & Support Services is seeking a driven
Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our corporate marketing team. This is a high-impact role focused primarily on
prospecting and generating new leads across our target markets in senior living, healthcare, and institutional support services.
At Forefront, we enrich the lives of residents and staff by delivering outstanding culinary, environmental, and facility services. As a BDR, you'll play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities and laying the foundation for long-term client partnerships.
Position Summary/Objective The Business Development Representative - Inside Sales position conducts lead generation and sales activities through telemarketing, e-mails, direct and overnight mail, social media, trade shows, in-person cold calling, channel partners, and other means that generate and source new client proposal opportunities that lead directly to new client contracts.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify prospective clients in senior living communities, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and related industries
- Proactively generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, social media, trade shows, direct mail, and in-person visits
- Build and maintain a targeted pipeline of qualified prospects aligned with company goals
Lead Engagement & Qualifications: - Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs and decision-making structures
- Educate leads on Forefront's culinary, environmental, and facility service solutions
- Qualify leads and schedule appointments for the Business Development or Sales leadership teams
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Business, Communications, or Hospitality
- 1-2 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and organized
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with senior living, healthcare, foodservice, or facilities industries
- Experience in outsourced service sales cycles
- Knowledge of long-term care and healthcare systems is a plus
