Position Overview X Technologies is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Professional to drive growth initiatives, identify new business opportunities, and expand our footprint in the defense and commercial sectors. This individual will play a key role in shaping the company's growth strategy, building relationships with key stakeholders, and leading proposal efforts to secure new contracts. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives. Identify, pursue, and capture new business opportunities within the DoD and commercial markets. Establish and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, defense contractors, and industry partners. Lead the identification and qualification of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other government procurement opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive proposals, white papers, and marketing materials. Track market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to align business development efforts with industry demands. Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to enhance brand visibility and business connections. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, providing regular reports to executive leadership. Support contract negotiations and ensure smooth transition from business development to program execution. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred. 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or capture management within the defense, aerospace, or technology sectors. Proven track record of successfully winning government contracts and developing strategic partnerships. Strong understanding of the DoD procurement process, including FAR/DFARS regulations. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and present compelling business cases and proposals. Experience working with federal contracting vehicles (e.g., GSA, IDIQs, SBIR/STTR programs). Proficiency in CRM software and business development tools.
