We're at the ground floor startup stage. Founder/CEO (Matt, writing this ) was previously cofounder/CEO of (Zillow for billboards), worked at Amazon Flex, and was the 20th employee at Instacart. Su (cofounder/Head of engineering) has been starting companies and writing code for a decade. We hope you're familiar with the ownership, urgency, intensity, and ambiguity of working at a startup.

We recently closed our seed round led by Initialized Capital.

The role

We're looking for a Business Development Lead - Multi-Family Housing to define, spearhead, and develop integrations with multi-family housing. We have a ubiquitous value prop (every resident does laundry) and unique opportunities to drive a) resident happiness and retention and b) increase revenue for the properties and drive NOI with zero upfront cost or effort by the properties.

We'll be expecting major hustle, hard work, creativity to improve our GTM approach with MFH. We're a startup and this is a new role, so leadership, proactivity, and handling ambiguity are paramount. Google "Earnest Shackleton job posting" - this is the modern day equivalent

Compensation will be significantly equity-weighted. We offer health benefits and free laundry service.

Values & Qualitative:

  • Customer Love: staying customer obsessed, anticipating customer needs, and listening attentively to every customer signal will get us far
  • Touch Grass: no one is above any task at the company
  • Ownership & bias to action: we have far too much to do to have people waiting for assignments. Proactively identifying and taking on projects is paramount to execute fast. Mistakes of commission are 100% fine (most things are two way doors), but mistakes of omission are not ideal

Roles and Responsibilities overview:

  • Open up leads with various properties and ownership groups
  • You should be adept with mailmerges, ALN data, CRMs, outbound outreach, and partnership structures
  • Master networker - you have an existing network of decision makers at property companies and can easily find ways to connect with target properties/companies
  • Drive conversations to closing, resulting in properties adopting NoScrubs as a perk for their residents
  • Ideally you'll hit the ground running with previous contacts, events to attend, and a gameplan to move fast (we already have hundreds of customers organically in apartments.)
