Business Development Manager - Spatial Multi-Omics

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Market Development

  • Develop and execute territory-specific sales plans to meet/exceed revenue targets for Omicsveu's product portfolio (Immunoveu, RNAveu, miRNAveu, Genotyping & Phenotyping, In Situ Sequencing).
  • Identify and prioritize target markets, including biopharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, and clinical research organizations.
  • Conduct market analysis to assess trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities in spatial biology.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., lab directors, CTOs, procurement teams).
  • Provide scientific guidance to clients on product applications, aligning solutions with their research or clinical needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Marketing, Technical Support) to refine product positioning and address customer feedback.

Sales Execution & Pipeline Management

  • Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, leveraging a consultative sales approach.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records (e.g., Salesforce) to track leads, opportunities, and forecasts.
  • Represent Omicsveu at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand brand visibility.

Collaboration & Internal Alignment

  • Work with Marketing to develop sales collateral, case studies, and training materials.
  • Provide market intelligence to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, or related field (Master's/PhD preferred).
  • 1+ years of business development or sales experience in biotechnology, with a focus on spatial biology, multi-omics, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in life sciences tools/markets.

Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of molecular biology workflows (e.g., gene editing, nucleic acid therapeutics, spatial transcriptomics).
  • Sales Acumen: Ability to negotiate complex contracts and articulate value propositions to diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in analyzing market data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills for engaging technical and executive audiences.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel 50% (e.g., North America, global regions).
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales pipeline management.
  • Preferred: Experience in Spatial Biology and Oncology.

Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary + Uncapped Commission: Earn six figures through a performance-driven compensation plan.
