Our client, a leading provider of packaging, labeling, and RFID solutions, is seeking a Business Development Manager for their Nike business. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth and expanding market presence for our client.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration for apparel packaging, labeling, and RFID solutions.
- Identify and prioritize target accounts and key market segments for business development initiatives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor on packaging, labeling, and RFID solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and customer service to tailor solutions that meet client needs and enhance brand value.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to key stakeholders, showcasing the value proposition of our products and services.
- Lead negotiations for contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements relevant to apparel packaging, labeling, and RFID technology.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of sales, account management, or product development experience in the packaging industry.
- Proven track record of success in strategic sales and business development roles.
- Understanding of packaging materials, labeling requirements, and RFID technology. applications in the apparel supply chain.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop highly productive relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research and data analysis.
- Results-oriented with a focus on exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Must be based in the Portland Metropolitan area.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Salary: $150,000 to $175,000 Base + Commission, commensurate with experience.
