Job Description:
The National Automobile Club is currently seeking an Insurance Business Development Manager. This position can be remotely based. As a Sales Executive specializing in the Insurance sector, you will be at the forefront of sales and customer acquisition.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for achieving designated sales revenue targets for emergency roadside assistance programs and related products, acquiring new business clients and growing the business within existing clients to negotiate terms, close deals, and secure contracts.
Principal Sales duties and responsibilities:
Research, identify, establish and develop relationships within potential clients
Source new prospects, plan and schedule sales calls with identified decision makers, including virtual meetings, attending industry events and trade shows in-person presentations and follow-up calls
Maintain a program of sales campaigns and outreaches to target lists
Manage the sales cycle and provide regular updates and reports
Establish relationships with customers, facilitate escalation and questions, full account aftersales management duties
Attend industry trade and client events along with networking opportunities and other relevant meetings/seminars - up to 25% Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert in the industry, guiding clients on best practices and emerging trends related to the company's solutions
Industry events such as CIC, NACE, Towing Shows, SEMA/APPEX, NAFA, GFX etc
Proactively address any challenges or barriers to product adoption. Lead initiatives to troubleshoot issues and provide creative solutions that ensure clients realize the full value of the company's offerings
Respond to RFPs and develop proposals and business status reports for presentation to clients, prospects, and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or documented relevant industry specific experience
- Minimum of 2 years' sales experience within the automotive industry
- Strong relationship building, presentation and negotiating skills
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and team building skills are required.
- Ability to effectively utilize PowerPoint for presentations is a requirement, along with utilization of all other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
Expected Compensation Range:
$74,500.00 - $110,00 base salary range dependent on relevant experience and performance-based incentives (uncapped)
