Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager for top tier global law firm. This hybrid role supports the Regulatory practice group including ESG, Energy, Environmental, Business and Human Rights, and Advertising and Consumer Protection Investigations. Duties: Work with attorney stakeholders and Marketing/BD team members to develop and monitor business plans ensuring with clearly stated milestones tied to business goals. Develop budgets for assigned groups. Work with practice and industry group leaders on preparation/follow-up for quarterly meetings with the Management Committee. Work directly with attorneys to implement business development initiatives/programs for new business generation with existing clients and prospects. Prepare targeted client pitch material. Leverage Marketing Research team to analyze market opportunities and assist attorneys/groups with preparation for client meetings. Coordinate with members of the BD team on cross practice pitches and other efforts. Recommend thought leadership and CLE programs for clients and prospects. Requirements: Bachelor's degree required. At least three years of experience in law firm or professional services marketing and business development, with a demonstrated background of accomplishment. Excellent interpersonal skills and written communications skills. Demonstrated leadership and proactivity/initiative. Prior experience supervising direct reports ideal. Ability to provide consistent and high quality work under tight deadlines. Experience with information technology and software for marketing, including databases and knowledge management tools. Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required. Salesforce a plus. Salary: $170k - $250k (commensurate with experience)
