Adecco Search is ACTIVELY recruiting for a strategic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager based in Rochester, New York to lead their regional sales team. You will be working for a family-owned and operated custom packaging company that has multiple plants in Upstate New York and Ohio. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing sales operations, and fostering strong relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a proven track record in sales management, team development, and cross-functional collaboration. The Regional Sales Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Sales. The Regional Sales Manager will be managing ten Sales Representatives and be responsible for a targeted territory. The Regional Sales Manager will require 15-20% travel within the Region.
Job Duties for the Regional Sales Manager in Rochester, New York:
Lead and manage all regional sales activities in collaboration with the VP of Sales & Marketing and the Regional General Manager.
Set and achieve annual sales goals; prepare and present periodic sales performance reports.
Coordinate with sales, design, and other related departments to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.
Develop and implement regional sales strategies, including territory assignments, quotas, and performance metrics.
Maintain a schedule of in-person visits to the top twenty-five regional accounts annually.
Manage a balanced portfolio of assigned accounts and prospect opportunities.
Oversee sales-related costs and assist in establishing and adjusting pricing strategies.
Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews; provide coaching and training to sales team members.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO 9001:2015 standards, and regulatory requirements such as OSHA and EEOC.
Collaborate on resolving accounts receivable issues and aged inventory management.
Participate in company management teams, including the Functional Management Team (FMT), Sales Process Management Team (PMT), and Buffer Management initiatives.
Job Requirements for the Regional Sales Manager in Rochester, New York:
Bachelor s Degree in Business or Packaging.
Direct Supervision of Sales Representatives.
Budget experience.
Prove track record in Sales Management.
Corrugated or Packaging Sales Experience A MUST.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams throughout the enterprise.
Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year
