What You'll Do

As the Business Development Manager, you will:
  • Lead and develop a results-driven sales team focused on increasing referrals and expanding our presence across Fairfield County.
  • Manage business development efforts across multiple service lines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Cultivate and grow strategic partnerships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, ALFs, care managers, and community organizations.
  • Own your territory by designing and executing strategic sales plans that expand our referral base and enhance our community impact.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and consultative services to educate referral sources on the value and criteria for RVNAhealth's offerings.
  • Track performance and report regularly on team activity, referral outcomes, and market insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Intake, Marketing, and Clinical teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and a unified message to the community.
  • Support innovation and growth by identifying new opportunities, programs, or underserved areas to better serve patients and families.
Your Leadership Matters

This is more than a field sales role - it's a leadership opportunity. You'll be responsible for:
  • Providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development to a growing Account Management team
  • Creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and achievement
  • Monitoring performance metrics and sales targets
  • Promoting best practices and continuous improvement
What You Bring
  • A Minimum of 5 years of healthcare sales experience (home health, hospice, or private care preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field preferred
  • Experience managing teams or leading others in a sales environment
  • Clinical background (RN or LPN) a plus, but not required
  • Strong knowledge of referral networks, admission criteria, and transitional care
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • A mission-driven mindset and commitment to delivering quality care
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel throughout Fairfield County

Compensation: Th pay range listed represents RVNAhealth's commitment to pay transparency and is a reasonable estimate of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final salary for this role will be determined based on careful consideration of a variety of factors, such as the candidate's exact location, experience, and expertise related to the qualifications.
