Gelatys is growing fast. We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead and expand our commercial strategy across the U.S. and international markets. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) and a proven track record working with retailers, convenience stores, and export markets.
This position reports directly to our National Sales Director and plays a key role in driving growth and forging long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead sales and business development efforts with retailers, grocery chains, and convenience stores
• Build and manage strategic relationships with distributors and brokers across the U.S.
• Identify and execute opportunities for export expansion.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align go-to-market plans, pricing, and promotional strategies
• Analyze market trends and customer insights to drive sales growth and channel optimization
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in CPG (frozen, dairy, or snacks a plus)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. retail and convenience store channels
• Proven success in managing distributor and broker relationships
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a strong plus
• Based in the U.S. with willingness to travel as needed
