What You Can Expect
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for achieving regional sales targets and driving company growth by identifying new business opportunities. Your experience will enable you to cultivate and maintain customer relationships while confidently leading and coaching Account Managers and Agent Teams. The role also involves managing overheads within budget for Marketing and MedEd, as well as developing and implementing sales strategies.
How You'll Create Impact
- Provide clinical support and education to surgeons and theatre staff on the use of Paragon 28 instruments and implants during surgical procedures.
- Partner with account managers and agents across the territory to drive growth and customer engagement.
- Participate in internal training programs and clinical education initiatives.
- Represent the region at sales meetings, conferences, and medical education events, including cadaveric labs.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs to qualify for incentives.
- Develop and execute regional business plans focused on customer retention and acquisition.
- Conduct field visits for skills assessment, coaching, and joint sales activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and procurement teams.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage tender submissions.
- Represent the region at national gatherings and facilitate team meetings.
- Oversee performance management through appraisals and ongoing feedback.
- Lead recruitment efforts to build a high-performing team.
- Maintain professional knowledge and develop personal competencies.
- Complete reporting and administrative tasks timely and accurately.

Your Background
- Degree or relevant experience in sales, theatre environments, or team management.
- Understanding of Foot & Ankle devices is preferred, including Trauma & Extremities.
- 2-5 years of sales success, including leadership experience.
- Organized, professional, and commercially aware.
Travel Expectations
This role is primarily field-based, involving working from home, office locations, hospitals, trade shows, workshops, laboratories, and occasional overnight travel.
