Business Development Manager - Contract Manufacturing

Location: Jackson, WI (Hybrid or Remote)

Reports To: President & CEO

Type: Full-Time

The Opportunity

We're looking for a high-energy, self-starting Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our contract manufacturing business. If you thrive on chasing high-impact opportunities, closing meaningful deals, and making a difference from day one-this is your seat at the table.


You'll be the driving force behind our business development efforts, uncovering new revenue streams and building long-term partnerships across the OTC drug, cosmetics, and medical device sectors. This role isn't just about hitting sales targets-it's about earning trust, creating tailored solutions, and generating sustainable growth in a competitive, fast-moving space.


What You'll Own

  • Develop and execute bold, strategic sales plans to drive contract manufacturing growth
  • Identify and pursue new business through prospecting, networking, and cold outreach
  • Build lasting client relationships by deeply understanding customer needs and aligning them with our capabilities
  • Serve as the key link between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and execution
  • Deliver compelling proposals and presentations that win trust and close deals
  • Negotiate scalable, profitable contracts aligned with company goals
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive shifts, and market dynamics
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, Engineering preferred)
  • 3+ years of proven B2B sales success-ideally in contract manufacturing, OEM, or industrial services
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain logistics
  • Excellent communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in CPG, OTC drugs, cosmetics, or medical devices
  • Familiarity with GMP, regulatory compliance, and quality standards

Compensation

  • Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 base
  • Bonus opportunity: Up to 10%
