About the Role - Iwatani is looking for a Business Development Manager for our Electronic Materials group that will manage the US territory. The purpose of this role is to increase revenue, market share and manage profitability, as part of the Materials Business Unit focusing on adhesives and film and other related products for electronic devices and automotive application. Responsible for developing business plans, product solutions and driving sales and customers to reach the expected growth levels of the business.
Responsibilities -
- Acquiring new projects both with existing customers and new customers.
- Spec-in of Iwatani solutions at (OEM) design/technology centers, and their respective suppliers (Electronic Manufacturing Suppliers (EMS , Component Makers and Converters.
- Drive global co-ordination of related activities leading to profitable growth.
- Define product development needs for respective key accounts and suppliers, participating in development process and subsequent specifications at design centers.
Required Qualifications -
- University degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business or comparable experience.
- Results-oriented, capable of managing complex projects both independently and collaboratively.
- Min. 3 years sales and account management or business development experience.
- Willingness to travel on the job domestically and internationally approximately 30-50% of working time.
Preferred Skills -
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the industry and the competitive market.
- Intercultural competence with experience working with the supply chain in Asia is preferred.
Pay range and compensation package - Min: $80,000 - Max: $100,000 base salary and sales bonus plan plus great benefits.
