Our client is a female-owned, minority owned staffing agency founded in 1992, located in Houston. They specialize in contracting with government entities to provide them with all the talent they need across industries.

Our client seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. This individual will procure new clients for their staffing services in the private sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and relationship management, with a deep understanding of the staffing and recruitment industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Outside sales through cold calls and face to face

  • inside marketing, emails, flyers, calls, etc.

  • Obtain new clients in the private sector for staffing services, such as, Admin, Light Industrial, Semi-Skilled Industrial, Healthcare, IT, etc.

  • Will target accounts of all sizes located in Houston and the surrounding areas.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients, understanding their staffing needs, and ensuring the delivery of quality recruitment services.

  • Analyze market trends and competitors, and develop strategies.

  • Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close contracts to secure new business. Ensure a smooth transition from sales to recruitment operations.

  • Track and report on sales activities, opportunities, and performance metrics to senior management to ensure sales goals are met.



Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, within the staffing or recruitment industry.

  • Proven track record of generating leads, building client relationships, and closing sales.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.

  • In-depth knowledge of the Houston business landscape and market trends.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
