As we expand our reach, we're looking for a driven and technically-savvy Business Development Manager to lead the charge in developing new client relationships and growing key accounts.


This role is a unique opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of electrical systems and a passion for business development. You'll be the face of our technical services division, identifying new project opportunities, building trust with clients, and driving strategic sales efforts. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development initiatives across industrial and commercial markets, with a focus on technical electrical services.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients through networking, site visits, cold outreach, and industry events.
  • Scope project opportunities and estimate work related to transformers, breakers, switchgear, motors, wiring, VFDs, and control systems.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and conditions that meet both client needs and business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, Engineering) to create targeted sales strategies and deliver compelling proposals.
  • Respond to RFPs and RFIs with tailored solutions that reflect a deep understanding of customer requirements.
  • Identify high-potential accounts and develop annual account plans to drive long-term growth.
  • Support the execution of trade shows, on-site presentations, and client workshops.
  • Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and regulatory standards during the sales and delivery process.
  • Provide leadership in closing complex deals and transitioning them smoothly to operations.

You're someone who thrives at the intersection of technical know-how and customer engagement. You bring 3-5+ years of experience in industrial electrical systems-perhaps as a Project Manager, Electrician, or Technologist-and you've made the leap into business development or technical sales. You know how to talk shop with electricians and executives alike, and you're confident negotiating project terms that deliver value on both sides. Willing to hit the road when needed, you're energized by meeting clients face-to-face and seeing your work translate into real-world results.
