Job Title: Business Development Manager - Education Industry, New Sales

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team, focusing specifically on new sales for B2B accounts. The Business Development Manager (BDM) role is focused on driving revenue growth and expanding market reach by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and developing account plans to achieve individual sales goals. The BDM is responsible for lead generation, sales strategy, and account plans. The position is based in the Denver Tech Center area.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Relationship Building:
Identifying potential clients, nurturing leads, and building relationships with prospective customers.
Account Planning and Customer Research:
Developing and implementing account plans, conducting customer research, and analyzing trends to gain access to key decision makers in large districts.
Sales and Marketing:
Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute sales plans, presentations, and promotional materials.
Financial Performance:
Monitoring sales progress, ensuring financial goals are met, and managing budgets.
Consultative Selling:
Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand clients' unique needs, challenges, and objectives.
Recommend tailored solutions and services that align with client goals and drive value.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Education, or related field. Master's degree preferred (MBA).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B new sales.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective account plans.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in CRM software (i.e. Sales Force) to manage book of business.
Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workplace.
Requirements
Fluent in Spanish - required.
Ability to travel required.
In-Office Position at Denver Technology Center (DTC).
Demonstrable record of consistent quantifiable goal achievements in a high-volume sales environment
Knowledge of the education industry is valued.
