Job Title: Business Development Manager - IT Services & Consulting

Location: Ellicott City, MD Hybrid (In-office 2 days/week)

About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technical experts and leadership, to create impactful proposals and solutions that solve real business problems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and develop relationships with potential clients in the IT services space (B2B).
  • Generate qualified leads through networking, outreach, and strategic research.
  • Develop and present customized proposals, solutions, and pricing strategies.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles, from first contact to signed contract.
  • Work closely with technical and delivery teams to align client needs with service capabilities.
  • Track pipeline and report performance metrics regularly.
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-7 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition in the IT services or tech industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IT services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to sales.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Existing client network or industry contacts in key verticals
  • Understanding technical terms and development processes.
  • International market experience is a plus.
