Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including clients, projects, and markets, through research, networking, and industry relationships.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and market conditions to guide strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular meetings with prospective and existing clients to assess needs, propose solutions, and build lasting relationships.
- Generate and qualify leads through direct outreach, networking events, and industry engagement.
- Use CRM software to manage client data, track interactions, analyze trends, and generate reports for improved engagement.
- Oversee divisional CRM use, ensuring accurate input and consistency across teams.
- Lead the creation and presentation of proposals, including project scope, budget, timeline, and value proposition.
- Manage the preparation and timely submission of client-specific RFQ responses.
- Oversee the work of external marketing partners and ensure the quality and consistency of all marketing materials.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop high-impact proposals and responses.
- Use market intelligence to identify strategic growth areas and inform company direction.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and build connections.
- Build a strong, active network across the company's key verticals to uncover and develop new business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the construction industry.
- Proven experience securing new business, building client relationships, and closing deals.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, project types, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel regionally in SC & NC.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
