Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategically minded Business Development Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong understanding of the M&A landscape, who can source and cultivate relationships leading to transactions ranging from $10 million to $2 billion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, source, and develop new client relationships across a range of industries within the lower and middle markets.
  • Drive origination of sell-side M&A mandates by leveraging existing networks and developing new strategic connections.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to shape outreach strategies and manage the deal pipeline.
  • Collaborate with deal execution teams to transition sourced opportunities into active engagements.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and emerging industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Active FINRA Series 63 and Series 79 licenses.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in M&A, investment banking, or business development with a proven track record in sourcing sell-side transactions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
