Business Development Mission Director, Air Domain Awareness and Defense

Job Summary: OWT Global's ADAD Business Development (BD) Mission Director is responsible for all business development and capture activities to drive growth within the ADAD directorate. The directorate lead has a holistic understanding of the C-UAS mission, technologies throughout the entire kill-chain, and unmanned traffic management. Working closely with the Director of Strategy and Growth, the ADAD Mission Director will identify, qualify, and capture opportunities within the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and other federal government customers. The ADAD BD Mission Director is an expert within their market, understands budget and market trends, and has established relationships throughout the community. The selected candidate will establish and extend trusted relationships between OWT Global personnel and their peers throughout industry and government. The selected candidate has demonstrated success in identifying tactical and strategic opportunities and will execute bid strategies, teaming agreements, pricing strategies, and proposal development for all opportunities across the ADAD directorate. This position is a critical member of the OWT Global team and works cross-functionally with contracts, finance, PMO, and the OWT leadership tram. This position is located in Tampa, Florida with remote employment consideration pending suitability and the ability to travel frequently to CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations as needed.
Responsibilities: - Develop and manage the OWT Global ADAD pipeline; identify and capture near / mid-term opportunities while shaping long term pursuits.
- Develop and execute customer, partner, and stakeholder contact plans.
- Interface with the customer and industry community; develop and maintain relationships with key government customers and industry peers.
- Develop new business opportunities at all stages of the sales cycle to include strategic targeting, capturing, and presenting compelling business propositions.
- Drive the development and submission of white papers and RFI responses to proactively shape strategic opportunities.
- Lead capture efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts; Develop capture strategy, competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win efforts.
- Lead and present directorate business development planning and execution activities: pipeline reviews, developing and managing capture budgets, planning resources and schedules for capture and proposal plans, opportunity gate reviews, win theme and discriminator workshops, proposal development, and proposal reviews.
- Coordinate and participate in meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop campaign plan strategies.
- Develop and lead OWT Global awareness/capabilities briefings providing overview of OWT Global directorate capabilities including "Why OWT" differentiators.
- Work closely with adjacent OWT Global business developers, capture managers, and line managers in a cooperative and constructive fashion.
- Maintain an awareness of competitive offerings and strategies across the space.
- Ability to travel up to 50% (work location dependent)
Required Experience: - Demonstrated tactical day-to-day success while being a strategic thinker with long-term directorate growth focus.
- Experience in leading and winning multi-million-dollar ADAD related opportunities from identification through proposal submission
- Established relationships with government customers relevant to OWT Global business.
- Extensive organizational and mission knowledge of relevant customer government organizations
- Understanding of the new business pursuit lifecycle, with proven experience in developing and winning new business
- Experience with the successful execution of all phases of a capture effort, including planning, teaming, proposal development, and price-to-win analyses.
- Ability to advance large-scale opportunities through the entire capture life cycle with an emphasis on opportunities 18-36 months ahead of solicitation release successfully.
- Knowledge of competitors and ability to model competitor behaviors in the market
- Great communicator - both oral and written
- Detail-oriented with the goal of delivering an accurate and precise work product.
- Can organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, rapidly changing business environment.

- Experience with GovCon market intelligence platforms

Qualifications: - Active Secret clearance (with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI)
- B.S. or B.A. in a relevant field
- 5-8 years of demonstrated success supporting business development and capture of programs within the DoD, IC, and federal government contract space (or) 10 years of combined military service and industry experience.
Preferred Experience / Qualifications: - Success in winning advanced defense technology services or solutions contracts in Electronic Warfare (EW), Counter-UAS, ISR platform, and/or other critical capabilities.
- Working knowledge of existing CUAS kill-chain technologies and mission requirements across the DOD
- Capture Management Certification(s), Shipley training, or equivalent experience
- Military or government experience in relevant operational areas
- Experience with Delteck CostPoint CRM
- 15+ years of military industry combined experience
- Advanced degree preferred
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
