Role Summary:
We are seeking a high-energy Sales / Account Manager (Hunter) with 3-5 years of proven B2B sales experience in IT staffing, consulting, or solution sales. This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise clients. You'll own the full sales cycle-from prospecting to closing-and play a critical role in expanding Strategic Systems' client footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities through cold calling, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Client Acquisition: Sell IT staffing and solutions services to hiring managers, VPs, and directors in verticals such as Healthcare, Finance, Manufacturing, and Technology.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to delivery.
- Sales Strategy: Develop territory plans, sales forecasts, and pipeline targets. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with delivery/recruiting teams to align client expectations and ensure high-quality placements.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market shifts to effectively position Strategic Systems' value proposition.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of sales experience in IT staffing, consulting, or professional services
- A true hunter mentality with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of client needs, especially in IT staffing and managed services
- Experience selling in a consultative, solution-based environment
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and ownership
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
