Senior Business Data Analyst - Expected salary range of $94,500 to $105,000 , varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Business Data Analyst II - expected salary range of $73,800 to $82,000 , varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Business Data Analyst I - expected salary range of $58,500 to $65,000 , varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

SENIOR BUSINESS DATA ANALYST - PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Senior Business Data Analyst (BDA) serves as a subject matter expert and role model for peers. This position is responsible for processing complex nonstandard deals across regions and assumes ownership of the internal Retail Gas Volumes system. The BDA acts as the primary liaison and point of contact with other functional groups for pre-deal related issues in the sales cycle. They possess an expert level of data interpretation, identifying inconsistencies in usage data, and play a key role in testing, training, and participating in special projects. The BDA takes a proactive approach to mitigate potential risks, detecting and addressing any data inconsistencies or gaps before they impact operations.

BUSINESS DATA ANALYST II - PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Business Data Analyst II (BDA) is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of customer and account data in our internal systems. This role provides advanced technical support to the sales and account management team and serves as the primary liaison with other functional groups for pre-deal related issues in the sales cycle. The BDA focuses on advanced data interpretation of usage data, identifying inconsistencies, and developing technical and analytical skills to influence the direction of C&I gas systems and processes to deliver self-manufactured solutions. This role takes a proactive approach to mitigate potential risks, detecting and addressing any data inconsistencies or gaps before they impact operations.

BUSINESS DATA ANALYST I - PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Business Data Analyst I (BDA) is responsible for maintaining and validating customer attributes used in the customer setup process. The BDA ensures the accuracy and integrity of customer and prospect historical data in our internal systems. This role involves coordinating the retrieval, verification, and uploading of usage data from various sources, as well as identifying and resolving inconsistencies.

SENIOR BUSINESS DATA ANALYST - PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
•   Advanced Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis and interpretation of historical prospect usage data, using advanced statistical methods and modeling techniques to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. Question any inconsistencies and manage Electronic Data Interface (EDI) requests with utilities. Demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting complex EDI and data-related issues. Retrieve and verify historical usage data from utility websites and review invoice copies. Ensure accurate and timely uploading of prospect historical usage to internal systems, utilizing advanced data validation and cleansing techniques. Mitigate potential financial risks by proactively identifying and addressing any data inconsistencies or gaps.
•   Retail Gas Volumes System Ownership: Take ownership of the internal Retail Gas Volumes system, ensuring all data-related issues and system problems are addressed promptly. Collaborate with the IT team to resolve system issues and actively participate in maintaining smooth processes related to the historical usage data flow. Troubleshoot historical usage data issues encountered throughout the prospect-to-customer life cycle.
•   Utility Knowledge and Relationship Management: Stay at the forefront of utility industry trends and requirements within the utility industry related to usage data requests. Collaborate closely with utilities to gather and question data as needed, leveraging advanced analytical and negotiation skills to obtain comprehensive and accurate information. Communicate system issues and outages to the Sales and Sales Support team.
•   Influential Stakeholder Engagement: Respond to Salesforce cases requesting usage data, exhibiting advanced expertise in retrieving and validating data. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and utility providers, to ensure seamless data exchange and accurate insights. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and expertise on complex data-related issues.
•   Process Optimization: Take a lead role in driving process improvements, leveraging advanced expertise to identify opportunities for efficiencies and automation. Assist with the development and implementation of new processes, including cleanup projects, new hire training, and the optimization of existing systems. Make data-driven recommendations to stakeholders regarding process enhancements and identify areas for improvement.
•   Resource and Escalation Point: Serve as an internal resource and initial escalation point to resolve challenges related to data validation processes and system synchronization. Act as a liaison between sales, internal functional groups, and customers/channel partners to ensure open communication and coordination throughout the data validation process and contract execution.
•   Travel required as necessary to meet business needs.
•   In-person attendance for trainings, team meetings, and other moments that matter. BUSINESS DATA ANALYST II - PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
•   Data Analysis: Maintain processes related to the flow of historical usage data, troubleshoot issues that may arise throughout the prospect-to-customer life cycle, and ensure data accuracy and consistency. Utilize advanced data interpretation techniques to identify inconsistencies and improve overall data quality. Question any inconsistencies and manage Electronic Data Interface (EDI) requests with utilities. Demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting complex EDI and data-related issues. Mitigate potential financial risks by proactively identifying and addressing any data inconsistencies or gaps.
•   Utility Knowledge and Relationship Management: Stay updated with changes in utility requirements for usage data requests. Collaborate with utilities to retrieve data. Question data related to historical usage and other associated properties data. Work with the Operations team to establish standards across utilities and ensure compliance.
•   Influence Stakeholder Engagement: Respond to Salesforce cases requesting usage data, exhibiting expertise in retrieving and validating data. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and utility providers, to ensure seamless data exchange and accurate insights. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and expertise to make recommendations on complex data-related issues.
