Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our septic company. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service through phone, email, and in-person interactions. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, addressing customer inquiries, and assisting with billing and service-related questions.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Schedule and coordinate septic system inspections, maintenance, and service appointments. Provide accurate information about services, pricing, and timelines. Handle customer concerns, resolve issues when possible, and escalate complex complaints to management if needed. Maintain and update customer records, service histories, and billing information. Process payments, invoices, and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks. Communicate effectively with field technicians to ensure accurate scheduling and service delivery. Follow up with customers to confirm appointments and ensure satisfaction after service. Assist in preparing and sending customer reminders, quotes, and follow-up communications. Stay informed about company services, policies, and industry regulations.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED

Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role is preferred

Comfortable using computers

Excellent phone and verbal communication skills

Understanding of active listening techniques and multi-tasking skills

Ability to work well under pressure

Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
