Responsible for creating, testing and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Performing risk assessments and testing of data processing systems Installing firewalls, data encryption and other security measures. Recommending security enhancements and purchases Training staff on network and information security procedures. Develop reports about the efficiency of security policies and recommend any
changes. Organize and conduct training for all employees regarding company security and information safeguarding.

Client requires a full business continuity and disaster recovery(BCDR) planning consultant to assist with the creation of an all encompassing plan. Consultant should be well versed in BCDR documentation, assessment, analysis, risk mitigation strategies, testing and training best practices and plan development.

BCDR expert(s) to work with client internal divisions and agencies for a period of 6-12 months. BCDR expert(s) will assist with outreach and requirements gathering for 5 agencies with the intention of teaching Client staff BCDR program workflows and process methodologies to incorporate the remaining agencies into the BCDR plan. Additional deliverables include business impact analysis and disaster recovery strategy guide.

• Creation of BCDR program and methodology including gap analysis, recovery strategies and roadmaps.

• Creation of Business Impact Analysis

• Recommendations for technologies and infrastructure to facilitate BCDR plan

• Training ETS staff to continue the BCDR workflow to completion for all State agencies
