Are you a seasoned California civil litigator looking for a flexible, part-time role where your expertise truly matters? TrustPoint.One has partnered with a boutique law firm, based in Los Angeles, in their search for a talented attorney to join us on a temporary basis (20 hours/week) to support a growing docket of business and entertainment litigation matters.
This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who enjoy high-level, substantive work without the demands of Full time practice.
What You'll Do:
Draft pleadings, motions, and pre-trial filings
Conduct legal research and draft concise, persuasive memoranda
Schedule and notice depositions
Assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy
File motions and handle motion practice independently
Stay on top of California civil procedure and LA local rules
Make court appearances in Los Angeles, if needed
You Bring:
Active California bar license
5-10+ years of civil litigation experience
Trial experience (first- or second-chair preferred)
Excellent research, writing, and courtroom skills
Strong attention to deadlines and procedural rules
Ability to work independently in a collaborative setting
Bonus Points For:
Familiarity with AbacusLaw (calendaring software)
Experience using QuickBooks Pro
Job Details:
Part-Time (Starting at 20 hours/week)
Temporary with potential for ongoing assignments
Remote or hybrid (LA-based preferred for court appearances)
