We have an outstanding career opportunity for aBusiness Application Specialistto join a leading Company located in theWilliamsport, PAsurrounding area.

The Business Application Specialist is primarily responsible for owning the lifecycle, usage, and support of our newly implemented SAP Business By Design system. This role will provide guidance on how to use an application, as well as provide intermediary-level support (Tier 2 and Tier 3) for assigned applications and systems. This is a great entry to associate level opportunity for candidates looking to grow with a company working in ERP systems.

The Business Application Specialist will work with IT and business colleagues to implement, deliver, and maintain a best-practice approach to utilizing SAP Business ByDesign. This role will also play a central role in the timely resolution of functional support issues, coordinating between IT and business colleagues to ensure proper resolution and escalation of issues as necessary.

Relocation Assistance to the Williamsport, PA area will be considered.

Responsibilities :
  • Collaborating with technical and non-technical team members to understand business needs and the scope of technology initiatives.
  • Configure and test SAP Business By Design to ensure it is meeting the business requirements.
  • Participate in end-to-end testing of software solutions.
  • Create and maintain standardization and documentation of technology, policies, and processes.
  • Provide user training and support for SAP Business By Design capabilities.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues within the SAP application
  • Participate in other projects and duties as assigned to support end users as well as the greater IT team.
  • Occasional travel to facilities across the US (up to 20%).
Basic Hiring Criteria :
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance technology, or other related business or engineering discipline.
  • Domestic travel up to 20%.
  • Exposure to a manufacturing environment and/or consumer products experience is a plus.
  • Advanced analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and aptitude.
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal with an ability to present to any level of the organization.
  • Bilingual English/Mandarin preferred.
  • Demonstrates troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new processes and drive change.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough, but with the ability to see the "big picture" and understand key trends and business drivers.
  • Team player, who is also a self-starter with the ability to work independently and show initiative.
