The Opportunity The Business Analytics Specialist you will focus on delivering reporting and analytics in support of our annuity business. With general guidance you will be responsible for the collection, organization, analysis and dissemination of significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. You'll have an opportunity to use your reporting and data analytics skills to provide a detailed understanding of how our business works and you will be responsible for analyzing sales data and reporting it to our teams and clients in an easy-to-understand format.

Third-Party Distribution and New Markets includes the company's third-party, worksite, direct-to-consumer and new markets efforts, focused on innovative ways to reach more people with the financial solutions they need. The team has an unrelenting focus on delivering long-term financial security and value to our policyowners, and takes a collaborative, inclusive approach to executing our strategy.
The Impact
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Responsible for the collection, organization, analysis and dissemination of significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Interpret requirements into meaningful insights and partner with sales leadership to meet the needs of customers
Monitor, organize and prioritize all client requests and perform timely assessment for all data/analysis requests
Responsible for ad hoc reporting design and support
Responsible for key statistics and daily/weekly/monthly updates to leadership
May provide support for the Variable Incentive Compensation plans
The Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma
2+ years of professional work experience
3+ months of data, reporting or analytics work experience
6+ months experience with Excel & PowerPoint
The Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Prior financial services industry or third-party distribution experience
Data analytics/reporting experience with annuity products
Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
Proficient in Tableau or MicroStrategy
Strong organizational, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong business and financial acumen and ability to think strategically
Excellent interpersonal skills to partner with sales leaders within distribution organization
Ability to listen to and understand and integrate the needs, interests, perspectives of internal and external partners into reporting
